I don't think you'll be able to find too many people that would agree if you if you thought the event was a poor display....

SAP put on an incredible show with almost zero glitches. 10/10 for presentation.

Once again, it was very interesting walking through the shark infested waters known as the "Vendor" hall where each stall has a salesman's eyes tracking you (and in particular, your ID badge) to see if you are to be labeled as a potential victim, um, I mean, customer!!!

It seemed like every stall had a free IPod drawin, except most were drawing at the end of the conference when most people were stranded at Atlanta airport, due to the storms around the country!

Needless to say, the IPods are safely in someone else's pocket but my kids did come away with some goodies.... The big hit was Esker's little luminous stick on lights. They must have made 100,000 of these things and about the same number of T-Shirts. They take the overall prize for money well spent... They can tell us if it was well spent. ;) Bouncing balls, glowing balls, shirts, .... all made the trip home.

I sat through 2 usability sessions on Redwood and Supply Chain Event Management's integration with Outlook and those were fun. They dished out some nice thank you gifts there as well.

At my talk, which seemed to be about a mile from the "Shark Tank", there were a few interested folks which I was pleased with. We have found that there are many consultants, myself included, that know workflow and need a place to go and find content on the subject. There are several user groups / mail forums that are active in this area (the WUG is especially good) but the problem with this type of format you have a place to go to ask a question and have it answered. With a portal like workflowgenie.com we make it a one stop shop to go for workflow tips, tricks, FAQ, news, document downloads. This is good for browsing what's out there.

Don't you often not have a specific need to answer a question but you would like to just browse what's out there. That's where this new site comes in to play. Buzz words are everywhere, but don’t be fooled, a persons true understanding of the subject can be unlocked by using this book. The book contains a wide variety of carefully worded questions that are designed to help you determine the best qualified candidates available today. The questions are concise and to the point and so are the answers. This allows the candidate to answer and provide the employer an in-depth understanding of whether the candidate can cut through the “fluff and get the job done.

This is not only for employers. This book will allow consultants or analysts to better prepare for the dream job and set them apart from the crowd. Self confidence and knowledge are the two most common traits employers seek in potential candidates. This book allows you to refine both.

Whether you are an analyst seeking a permanent position or a consultant looking for your next project, this book allows you to impress the future employer with a clear understanding and self confidence expected from a subject matter expert.
